This year's family trip was a roadtrip to New Mexico and west Texas.
First stop....Carlsbad Caverns, NM
These caves really are spectacular. My favorite was the first part walking down entering into the cave. It was awesome. The caves are so big it blew my mind that we were actually underground. When I came back up I couldn't believe all that was under there!
Dominic came prepared with his flashlight.
And much to my surprise and relief, they even had bathrooms down there!!
We came back that night for the BAT FLIGHT!
Dominic fell asleep and missed the whole thing.
But that's ok, we'll go back again and take John next time.
