The first day we were there was a blast! One of the boys' best friends, Will, moved to Dallas last summer and they really miss him. So we surprised them and Will and his family came too!! It was so great seeing them again. Our other good friends were there too so it was like the gang was back together again.
Everything was going along swimmingly and then..... the flu showed up and totally rained on our parade. :( Dominic woke up the next morning with a 102' fever. He and I had to stay locked up in our room for the whole day. Such a bummer!
Diego and John had a great time though and John even got to go to a Super Bowl party in some friend's room with lots of meat and beer (what else do men need?) and Diego went to watch the Puppy Bowl in another room with pizza and mac and cheese (what else to kids need?)
So it didn't turn out quite how we expected and I didn't even get to see a bunch of our friends but there's always next year!
