Pinewood Derby

This morning was our first ever Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby! What fun! Dominic and John did a great job building Dominic's car.

Our first stop was the qualifying station. The car must meet weight and size requirements.

Next stop was the fueling station. Dominic fueled up with not one but two donuts.

One of Dominic's best buddies, Truett, is in his Den. These two are two peas in a pod.

Dominic's fan club is dedicated. A early morning call time didn't keep them from cheering on their rock star.

Even if his car wasn't the fastest I'm so proud of my little Tiger Cub. He really put a great effort into his car. We studied the fastest cars and he's already planning for next year's car. He wanted to start it today! This boy is awesome.

And as an added bonus to the day, Diego decided to join his crazy buddies and join Cub Scouts too!
